Ourboros: Through the Labyrinth
Ouroboros: Through the Labyrinth is a fast-paced Pac-Man/Snake hybrid where you guide a glowing serpent through tight neon mazes, weaving around walls, planning moves, and racing a relentless countdown as food values decay in real time.
In Classic mode, survival is all about route efficiency and timing: every purple food pickup boosts your score and extends your clock, but the reward shrinks the longer you wait and game speed ramps up after each bite, forcing sharper decisions under pressure.
Labyrinth mode expands the challenge into a sequence of connected mazes where you must collect enough food to unlock progression, navigate warp lanes and chokepoints, and push deeper toward the final chamber, where a last objective opens the golden escape tile. The result is a tense arcade loop of pathfinding, momentum management, and risk-reward scoring, built around the core fantasy of eating, growing, and escaping before time runs out.

I love the visual style! The premise is a little basic imo but it's very nicely executed! Great work :)
Glad you like the aesthectic, I've always like the idea of the 'glow' you get from CRTs on old arcade cabinets, its ever so slightly synthwave in style.
This was the first game I've made, the aim was to go for something simple and achievable to build.
One design principle I wanted to embody in the game was an intuitive experience, requiring no instructions like like the first level of Miyamoto's Super Mario Bros.
